The Dimlux DXO HPS 400V 1000/1250W DE EL is a high-output double-ended horticultural lamp developed for professional 400V electronic lighting systems. Designed specifically for both dimming and high-power boost operation, it delivers strong PAR output across a wide operating range while maintaining high efficiency at elevated power levels.

The spectrum is concentrated primarily in the orange and red regions to support flowering and fruiting, while retaining some blue output for vegetative growth. This makes the DXO suitable for full-cycle horticultural use where high-intensity HPS lighting is preferred.

Designed for Dimming & Boosting

The DXO 1000/1250W has been engineered for use with high-frequency electronic ballasts and can operate across a 600–1250W dimming range. Its design is optimised to maintain strong photon output when boosted above its nominal 1000W operating level.

High PAR Output

At 1250W, the lamp produces a PAR photon output of 2725 µmol/s within the 400–700 nm range and 2997 µmol/s across the broader 350–800 nm range.

System photon efficacy reaches 2.18 µmol/J for PAR and 2.39 µmol/J across the wider 350–800 nm spectrum at 1150–1250W.

Flowering-Focused Spectrum

The DXO spectrum is weighted towards orange and red wavelengths to support flowering and fruit development, while also providing blue light that allows the lamp to be used during vegetative growth.

The lamp also produces a comparatively high proportion of far-red light, with Dimlux specifying a red-to-far-red ratio of approximately 6:1.

Long-Term PAR Maintenance

The DXO range is designed for extended horticultural use, with Dimlux specifying approximately 95% PAR maintenance after 10,000 operating hours.
