Esoteric Horticulture Ltd. endeavours to provide quality unbiased advice, service and products, personally tried and tested, to help you obtain the very best results from your garden, whether hydro or soil. All our staff have practical knowledge of a wide variety of items we stock and are happy to answer any questions you might have; and if for some strange reason we cannot answer them, we will obtain answers from other highly experienced sources within 24 hours.

Esoteric Horticulture Ltd. carries a large number of items in stock, but sometimes not all the items, all of the time. Please call to avoid possible disappointment. If any items are out of stock, there is an approximately 1-3 day lead-time for re-stocking. If there are any items that are not lists here, don't worry, we can probably get them, so please call for price and availability. New stock arrives daily, again call or pop in for the latest products.

All prices include VAT at 20% and are correct at time of printing, however prices and products are subject to change without prior notice.

Mail / Internet Orders:

Esoteric Horticulture Ltd. have a dedicated mail order department always ready to quote you for your order and despatch it the same day (except Saturdays); this applies to most orders received and cleared before 3pm. This ensures next working day delivery.

Once upon a time we were you and knew the importance of getting your products there as quickly as humanly possible, so we do our best. We have been providing next day delivery for over 10 years and have built our reputation on it. If you need it and we've got it, it will be with you the following day. That is of course if the courier does not get lost. Ninety five percent of next day deliveries get there the next day.
 

Free UK Mainland Delivery on Orders £50 and Over

Delivery to UK Mainland is free for orders £50 and over, heavy or bulky items may incur a surcharge. We will not make any additional charges until the amount has been agreed with you via email or phone.

Orders under £50 to UK Mainland have a delivery fee of £10, heavy or bulky items may incur a surcharge. We will not make any additional charges until the amount has been agreed with you via email or phone.

You can also stipulate a specific day if this better suits your needs. Morning delivery subject to our agreement is £20. This service is slightly more temperamental and we cannot be held responsible if the courier fails to deliver on time. For £35, we can arrange for your goods to be delivered on Saturday; again subject to our agreement.


Other Areas / Countries

* Northern Ireland is £25, highlands £35, some remote areas will also be charged £35 which will be calculated at checkout once the full address has been entered.

A surcharge of 25% is added for international orders, this is just an estimate and may be more or less, we shall contact you via email to confirm if different.

You are responsible for paying all import duties and taxes.

You can order by fax:

Fill out the enclosed order form, if you get stuck give us a call and we will be happy to help. Fax it to us on 01483 596490 - as soon as we have received and processed the order, we will pack it ready for despatch.


Come and see our shop:

You can buy direct from the shop and take the goods straight away, or if it is more convenient to have the goods sent, this too can be arranged from the shop. We will endeavour to make you very welcome and explain the different equipment we have working in our grow room on display.

Delivery to a Depot Near You:

We can have your goods despatched to a localcourier company sorting depot near your location. To collect your goods we supplyyou with a key reference number, which you then quote to the courier company sorting depot when collecting your order.

Unfortunately, we can only accept monies paid direct into our bank account, postal orders or cash for this service.
 

Pay using cash:

We obviously accept cash. This can now be sent safely via special delivery envelope (silver slip) which you can purchase from the Post Office. It is insured and is guaranteed to get to us the next day before 12:00pm allowing us plenty of time to despatch the goods the same day the order is received. This is a very popular method of payment.


Pay using credit or debit card:

We now accept all major credit cards and debit cards over the phone. This is becoming more popular as it is very convenient. The authorisation is subject to quite stringent criteria. The order can only be made by and sent to the credit card holder's address.


Pay via cheque:

We now use Transax to clear your cheque in 30 seconds instead of having to wait 5 working days. This allows us to despatch the goods the same day as receiving your order.

Please make cheques payable to Esoteric Horticulture Ltd. Please include cheque guarantee card number on the back of the cheque if possible.


Pay via postal orders:

Get them at your Post Office, it's as good as cash. This allows us to despatch the goods the same day as receiving your order. Cross them payable to Esoteric Horticulture Ltd.


Pay direct into our mail order bank account:

Call us on 01483 596484 to place your order. We will quote you the cost for your order including delivery. All you have to do is to go down to a local Bank quoting the following details: Name of account: Esoteric Horticulture Ltd, the sort code, and account number will be given to you when you call. Once
you have deposited the monies into our account give us a call, again we normally despatch the same day as receiving the order.

At Esoteric, when you place a order with us, you can be assured you will get the best service possible.

We want you to have the confidence when placing an order, there won’t be unforeseen problems which is why we’re introducing a new order fulfilment for all orders. This ensures that when ordering from us, you don’t have to wait for your items if they’re not available.

If a product is not available, where possible, we will provide an alternative product that is of equal or greater value than the one ordered, so there are no delays and that you have everything you need when your order is delivered.

And don’t worry if you would rather wait for the original item(s), as we will get in touch with you prior to doing this to make sure you are happy with any replacements we propose.

If we are unable to get in touch, we will despatch your items without a replacement and the original product placed on back order and despatched as soon as it is available.

This ensures that you can order from us in complete confidence and get your entire order first time around.

Terms and Conditions

  • You will be contacted within 24 hours once we know your items are on back order. Please check your emails, and your spam folder in particular
  • The 24 hour contact will be made during shop hours Monday-Friday 8.00-5.00
  • You will be offered the most suitable alternative should your item be out of stock at time of purchase
  • We will be in touch with you before any substitutes are shipped
  • The replacement item will be of equal or greater value than the product originally ordered
  • If you’re made aware that a product is currently out of stock at the time of purchase, you won’t be eligible for an upgrade
  • Your goods will be held for 24 hours until we receive confirmation from yourself regarding a product swap
  • Once a replacement item is confirmed, we cannot make any changes to your order as your order will be sent to be picked, packed and despatched
  • We cannot be held liable for any conflicts and resulting damages, once a replacement item has been agreed upon.  To ensure a replacement item is compatible with the rest of the order, please discuss this with one of our team
  • If you would like a refund for one of the items we have substituted, we can offer this up to the value of the original item ordered
  • If there is no suitable alternative, we will provide an ETA on the original product ordered
  • Upgrades can only be applied to individual or standalone products as we are unable to upgrade kits
