The Tray2Grow Seed Tray is specifically designed for raising young plants with the Tray2Grow watering system. Its perforated base allows water and nutrient solution to be absorbed upwards when Tray2Grow is used in its Capillary Matting configuration.

Up to four Seed Trays can be positioned on a single Tray2Grow, providing a simple and efficient way to irrigate and feed multiple trays of young plants.

How It Works

When Tray2Grow is used in its Capillary Matting configuration, a large rectangular capillary mat is positioned on the Tray2Grow tray and tucked into the channels. A root control sheet is then placed over the capillary mat.

The Seed Trays are positioned on top of the root control sheet. The capillary mat draws moisture and fertiliser from the Tray2Grow tray, allowing it to pass upwards through the holes in the base of each Seed Tray and into the growing media.

This provides water and nutrients directly to the young plants without requiring conventional top watering.

Important Information

The capillary mat and root control sheet required for the Capillary Matting configuration are not included with this Seed Tray.
