SmartBee™ Hive™ Gateway

The SmartBee™ Hive™ Gateway comes standard with any base system. The Hive™ Gateway acts as the wireless gateway for the various SmartBee™ environmental sensors, power, HVAC and lighting controls. It is the nucleus of the system and the main portal for all communication between the wireless sensors, Internet and your iPad.

The SmartBee™ Hive™ Gateway manages all sensors within your network, and is the central message exchange for our software protocol. Whether hanging on the wall or sitting on a table, a hard wired power cord ensures continuous power. The SmartBee™ Hive™ Gateway also serves as your system's link to the Internet service, delivering continuous and secure data updates on your garden, and accessed via an authorized account which monitors and control modules inside your room.

SmartBee™ products are used in conjunction with The Hive™ Gateway to create an end-to-end smart network using your existing grow equipment. All without the need for messy wires.

SmartBee™ LTH+CO2 Sensor

SmartBee™ System's LTH sensors are core components that allow you fine-tuned control. They continuously monitor light, temperature and humidity wirelessly within the garden. One of the many smart features of the SmartBee™ LTH Sensor is a pair of solar panels on top of the unit that harvest excess energy from the lights, keeping the Li-po battery charged. You can deploy multiple LTH sensors to monitor specific areas of your garden, utilizing the readings from specific individual sensors. The options are limitless! Light is sensed via the ambient light sensor which takes readings and sends that data to the Hive Gateway, telling the system whether or not to turn on certain outlets relative to your garden's day or night cycle. Sensor values can be used to preform actions such as turning on a fan or dehumidifier and/or sending a text message alert for high or low humidity levels. SmartBee software is even capable of turning on and off a controllable outlet(s) or Lighting Controller based on the reading from the temperature sensor.

Within indoor gardens, temperature and humidity control with flexible settings for day and night are essential, along with the gradual change over in between. The SmartBee™ LTH Sensor monitors all of these readings and allows you to control the output devices to meet your garden's needs. Factoring various growth stages, as well as day and night time temperature and humidity, the LTH sensor allows for a variety of control scenarios to be achieved.

The SmartBee™ LTH+CO2 Sensor is designed to allow better access to plant canopy, where placement accuracy is essential to monitor correct levels of CO2 levels. The lithium ion battery powered sensor is also Solar charged and can ensure a constant level of CO2 while maximizing efficiency and economy. Should you employ CO2 injection for maximizing growth, The SmartBee™ system works by sampling the air and sending sample data to the Hive Gateway. The Hive then activates or deactivates your CO2 enrichment or CO2 venting (exhaust) equipment as necessary to maintain CO2 PPM based on your set point.

The key to any CO2 injection program is a closed-off, windless environment. With HID lights, the room temperature will quickly rise making temperature control essential. This limits the time that you are able to inject CO2 and also increases CO2 wastage, which the SmartBee Control System minimizes by timing CO2 distribution to temperature control.

SmartBee Stinger Smart Strip 4

Among the SmartBee™ Plug-n-Play Networking family, the Stinger Smart Strip™ 4 integrates with the Hive Gateway™ to centralize input from multiple SmartBee™ Smart Plugs for an energy management solution. Load consumption information from attached electrical devices can be communicated for monitoring or control of all attached appliances. Information including on/off status, operating range and erratic behavior can be determined and used to initiate subsequent actions, such as powering on or off a device. A key benefit is more efficient usage of energy, resulting in decreased costs.

The SmartBee™ Stinger Smart Strip™ 4 replaces your current power strip with our smarter one. The Stinger Smart Strip™ 4 lets you turn up to 4 electronic devices on or off independently from anywhere. You can set schedules for your garden's environmental and other grow appliances, and control them remotely using a simple mobile internet connection.

The Stinger Smart Strip™ 4 is an intelligent outlet that affords wireless control of humidifiers, exhaust fans, heaters, CO2 and more. Power failure detection, active electrical current monitoring, and fail-safe features make this power strip far better than any competing units on the market today. In fact, you can also add additional Stinger Smart Strip™ products to your garden for even greater control of appliances via your iPad!

SmartBee™ gear is compatible with most other manufacturer’s equipment currently on the market today. It is designed to interface with any equipment that’s 120 & 220 Volts and uses a standard NEMA 5 plug configuration.
